Initial Momentum...Digg & StumbleUpon
When I started my proxy websites--I first submitted it to Digg and I added it to Stumble Upon. These are great sources to gain initial traffic to help start making cash fast.
Digg (http://digg.com) is a website that users can post recent articles and recent websites that they find interesting or worth submitting. Then other users can "digg" it and the most diggs it has, the higher it will be ranked on the website. Digg links are very good for search engines and plus it will give your proxy that initial boost to your money maker.
StumbleUpon (http://www.stumbleupon.com) is a very welly built innovation where you add your website to them via their Toolbar. After that, the most websites you "stumble upon", the more other users will stumble upon your website.

You will need a bit of HTML experience with this so if you don't know any--ask a friend to help you out. You will need to insert TITLE H1 and STRONG tags. Find a keyword niche, for example like "myspace proxy server" "anonymous proxy server" "anonymous web proxy" and such. To help determine which keyword niche you really want, you can use Overture's tool for keyword suggestions. After you find your keywords, have those keywords go into the TITLE tags and create H1 tags and put your keywords in them. Also inside the body, write a short paragragh with your keywords repeating 3-5 times within the context of it and make like 1-2 of them inside STRONG tags.
